Circular walk to Drayton St Leonard returning via Beaconsfield.

Grade: Moderate

I wasn’t feeling a hundred percent this morning, and it would have been exceedingly easy to just stay at home and not bother, it was frosty outside! I pulled on my big girl pants and got on with it.

I arrived at the meeting point to discover that the leader, David, and I were the only ones who had shown up.  I was wrapped up nice and warm, layers, woolly hat, gloves, off we went.

We had a lovely walk, the frost thawed as we went, the sun came up, and brisk walking kept us warm. As it was just the two of us, we were able to keep up a cracking pace, averaging three miles per hour. We saw lots of red kites.

On returning to our vehicles, I noticed one of my tyres was quite low so had to head for a garage to pump it up. Normally I have a pump in the car, but had emptied my car for a tip run at the weekend.

I didn’t take any photos today!
