towards Watlington, up to Greenfield then Pishill Bottom and Russell’s
Water. Returning by way of Cookley Green.
My very first Ramblers Walk. An excellent circular walk from St Botolph’s church in Swyncombe, just three of us, Peter, Trevor and me. The weather was fine, warm enough for me to dispense with my fleece. The autumnal colours were amazing. There were quite a few ascents and descents on the walk, and we went at a fairly brisk pace in the main, which was just about enough of a workout for me.
